How to Apply?

Qualifications Needed:

1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd division) from a recognized Board.
2. Typing speed: 25 words/minute in English on a computer.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other compatible software.

Age Limit:

• Men: 18-30 years
• Women: 18-33 years
• Transgender: Based on CNIC age details

Gender & Posting Details:

• Genders: Male, Female, Transgender
• Domicile: Sahiwal Division (Okara, Pakpattan & Sahiwal)
• Posting: Sahiwal Region

Examination Details:

• One MCQ paper, 90 minutes, 100 marks, topics include:
  • 60% from General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (or General knowledge for non-Muslims), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, and Everyday Science.
  • 40% from Basic Computer skills and MS Office.
• Only those passing the General Ability Test will qualify for the typing and proficiency test.

Application Process:

1. Ensure you read all the “General Instructions” on the PPSC website.
2. If claiming qualification equivalence, provide the appropriate certificate at the interview time.
3. For private firm experience, bring proof of the firm’s registration.
4. Apply for a Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC immediately after applying.
5. Ensure registration in PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant bodies.
6. Shorthand and Typing Tests are ONLY in Lahore.
7. Provide certificates showing marks/percentage. CGPA is not accepted.
